This programme is intended for people who must solve problems in their work environment. The skills, values and knowledge provided in this programme will enable learners to identify and analyse problems, identify possible solutions and implement a solution to meet operational requirements.

ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

This unit standard has been designed as part of a progression. It is one of a series of unit standards for people who supervise individuals and team activities in manufacturing and/or assembly processes.

The credits allocated to this unit standard assume that learners have little or no experience in solving basic problems when starting to learn towards competency in this unit standard.

It is further assumed that learners are able to:

Communicate effectively at NQF level 3.
Apply principles of policy and procedure implementation at NQF level 3.
Demonstrate an understanding of the organisation and its functions in which problems are to be solved and decisions made at NQF level 3.

KVR Pre-assessment
