This skills programme is aimed at people working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment, who need to understand the functions of the store / warehouse and are tasked with the responsibility to understand the need for improvement in supply chain operations, control stock and understand the layout of a warehouse according to workplace requirements. 

This programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to use materials handling equipment safely, receive stock, code, and label inventory items as well as warehouse distribution. Qualifying learners will have an understanding of why stocktaking is performed, and to use the variety of stocktaking processes to check stock. They will also be able to perform stock reconciliation.
