This programme is a QCTO occupational qualification and consists of knowledge modules, practical modules and work experience modules, as explained in the qualification rules.
This qualification is aimed at learners with an NQF Level 4 qualification or persons who have been working in the supply chain environment and are wanting to formalise their skills and knowledge. As an entry into a career path leading to international recognition.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the learner with the required knowledge, practical skills and workplace-based experience to operate as a Supply Chain Practitioner.
A Supply Chain Practitioner develops operational schedules and action plans to coordinate service delivery in the supply chain in accordance with customer/end user requirements and performance objectives and manages relationships with customer/end user and suppliers.

Please note: The curriculum requires the Learner Contact Time (LCT) for the Work Experience Modules to be at last 75 days.
This qualification also requires the following Work Experience Modules:
Total number of credits for Work Experience Modules: 36
Please note: The curriculum requires the Learner Contact Time (LCT) for the Work Experience Modules to be at least 45 days.
Note: Credit Accumulations and Transfer (CAT) exemption for specific modules (in accordance with qualification rules) is applicable to approved learners and CAT applications for approval will be provided on request. Approved learners will have reduced contact days.
Facilitation strategy
For the knowledge modules and practical modules, KVR Training offers our clients various facilitation methods based on specific needs. This can include in-person, on-line, virtual facilitation methods or a combination of any of these. Various learning techniques, such as simulations, roleplays and presentations are used. Facilitators give feedback on participation, strengths, and areas for improvement. Practical application is crucial, requiring learners to apply knowledge in their daily work under supervision.
For the work experience modules, learners will be provided with a detailed work experience guide. This will enable learners to complete the required work experience modules under the guidance of a workplace coach/mentor.
Assessment strategy
The work experience modules must be completed in the workplace. The workplace mut provide the resources (both physical and human resources) to ensure that the following critical aspects of the workplace requirements can be assessed.
